Decorative Stone

Decorative stone is a very attractive alternative to ground-covering, mulch, or soil.

When decorative stone is laid on a quality weed barrier fabric, stone provides a longer lasting, maintenance-free, ground covering. If you have an abundance of trees in on your property, you may want to choose our ‘heavier’ weighted stone to make leaf removal a bit easier. Lightly blowing the leaves will help keep your stone in place.

Regardless of which stone you choose, many of our customers prefer investing up front in stone, which saves money in the long run when compared to the investment required when installing mulch every season. Note: All stone pricing is by the Ton (2,000 lbs). We also provide an estimate of how many pounds are equivalent to a cubic yard. Picture a Rubik’s cube that is 3’x3’x3′ in size—That’s a good visual of a cubic yard of stone.
